Steve Halstead (VP of Operations)
Steve joined Up To Date Laundry, LLC in 2008. He has over 42 years as a leader in the healthcare laundry industry and has successfully built, improved, and led plant operations for G&K Services and ITSI. Steve has completed instruction at the Milliken Production Management Institute in 1998 and Production Management PMI in 1993. He is also a Green Belt in “Six Sigma”. He has managed UTD Consulting for the company, has been instrumental in the expansion of the plant operations, and has led many of our GREEN initiatives.
Jeff Ringley (Director Of Operations)
Jeff joined Up To Date Laundry, LLC in 2013. He has established himself as a leader in the industry with over 19 years of experience within the healthcare laundry industry. Jeff has held positions as plant manager for Nixon Uniforms and Image First. Jeff is a Certified Plant Laundry Manager (CPLM) through the Textile Rental Services of America (TRSA). He has led the team in certifying 5 medical laundries as Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Certification (HLAC) facilities.
Brad Minetree (Business Development Executive)
Brad joined Up To Date laundry in 1990 and is the grandson of the company’s founder, William Stair Senior. He has been instrumental in the growth of the company and has established strong relationships with our customer base. He has held several leadership positions for UTD. Brad graduated from the University of West Virginia in 1985 with a K–12 teaching degree.
Kathy Halstead joined Up To Date Laundry in 2009. She brings over 22 years of business experience in the financial operations side of the laundry industry. This includes the industrial sector, healthcare, food and beverage, and hospitality. Her areas of expertise include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Payroll, and the implementation of various business systems.
Kathy served as an integral part of several acquisition teams in the Mid-Atlantic region over her 5 years with G&K Services leading in several different roles. In her spare time, she has also owned and managed her own successful business for many years. Prior to the laundry business, she worked at National Geographic for 18 years in office management roles.
Maria joined Up To Date Laundry in 2014 as the Human Resources Manager bringing an extensive background from multiple industries including hospitality, retail, construction, healthcare, and automotive manufacturing.
Through her years in Human Resources, Maria has applied her knowledge and experience of employment law, customer and employee relations, process improvement, and organizational development to build and lead Human Resources operations for several large organizations.
Maria obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Texas at San Antonio, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
