Glenn Blucher
(Vice President of Sales & Service)
Glenn joined Up To Date Laundry, LLC in 2010 and has successfully built and managed customer service and business operations in the healthcare laundry industry for over 32 years. He has led large service organizations and has been at the top in his field for many years. Many of these years were spent in the Industrial and F&B side of the commercial laundry industry. He directed the launch and build of Up To Date Healthcare and UTD Consulting for the company. Glenn has his Green Belt in “Six Sigma” and has served as a corporate Service Manager for G&K Services and ITSI before joining UTD.
Jamie Orlando
(Chief Operating Officer)
Jamie Orlando is a long-time veteran of the commercial laundry healthcare industry. Jamie joined Up To Date Laundry as Chief Operating Office in April 2021.
After graduating from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA with a BS Degree in Business Administration, Jamie has majority of his career with Angelica Corporation in a variety of accounting, finance and senior operations & logistics roles. Most recently, Jamie served as Vice President, Healthcare Textile Division with Encompass Group.
John Saxton
(Non-executive Chairman and Lead Director of Up To Date Laundry, LLC)
John also serves as Non-executive Chairman and Lead Director of three other companies in the investment portfolio of Calvert Street Capital Partners.
John was President & CEO of The Sheridan Group, a privately owned company headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, for 22 years before retiring in 2017. Prior to joining The Sheridan Group, John spent 24 years with the Procter & Gamble Company, holding positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, R&D, human resources, government relations and general management.
John received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1971.
Matt Miller
(Senior Financial Controller)
Matt Miller joined Up To Date Laundry, LLC in August of 2023 bringing over a decade of accounting and finance experience to the organization. After graduating from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a BSBA majoring in accounting and finance and a minor in economics, he began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their private company audit practice in Philadelphia where he earned his CPA designation.
After three years in Philadelphia, he spent a final year with the firm in their Orange County, California office before transitioning out of public accounting into an industry role with a private equity backed high-end appliance and plumbing retailer (PIRCH) in San Diego. There he advanced to the position of Director of Finance and Controller overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and working closely with the executive management team on financial strategy and implementation.
After relocating back to the East Coast at the beginning of 2020, Matt was the Finance Manager for a private equity backed flexible packaging manufacturer (CP Flexible Packaging) in York, PA where he owned debt compliance, financial reporting, the annual audit, the annual budget, and assisted in due diligence and integration of 5 acquisitions. Matt lives in Lutherville, MD with his wife and daughter.
Lisa Morris
(HR Director)
Prior to joining Up to Date Laundry in August 2022, Lisa Morris was the HR Director for an oil refinery and recycling startup in Curtis Bay called Origin International LLC.
Prior to Origin, Lisa was the Senior Manager of Benefits and Compensation at Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT), a real estate investment trust (REIT) in Columbia, Maryland. During her eight-year tenue at COPT, she developed and refined their compensation and benefit programs including their corporate wellness program.
Prior to COPT, she owned and operated Strategic HR Solutions; was a Senior Compensation Analyst at Space Telescope Science Institute at the Johns Hopkins University and began her career at Environmental Elements Corporation which was a division of Koppers Company.
She has a BA from University of Maryland and currently holds several HR certifications from World at Work and Society of Human Resources Managers and has over twenty years’ experience in the HR field.
