Rosa Lamidi has worked in the HR field for over 10 years, and has worked in non-profit and for profit industries, as well as international organizations. She currently works at Up To Date Laundry as the Human Resource Manager and directs the administration of all HR functions. Rosa has her Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources from Saint Leo University, as well as a Bachelors in Psychology from the same institution.
She has proven success in creating cultures of collaboration, and implementing change to achieve workforce excellence. Rosa possesses experience in several aspects of human resources including: recruitment, development, employee training, employee relations, strategic planning, and payroll. She has a track record of coaching in the areas of team building, diversity sensitivity, managing change, and ensuring that policies and procedures are properly applied in accordance to US and local laws and requirements.
In addition to her work in the Human Resources field, Rosa also served in the United States Navy and later worked in the Norfolk, VA public school system as a Teacher Assistant in an alternative school. Additionally, Rosa also worked as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and worked with at risk youth and their families. In her spare time, Rosa enjoys creating art and spending time with family and friends.
Kathy Halstead joined Up To Date Laundry in 2009. She brings over 22 years of business experience in the financial operations side of the laundry industry. This includes the industrial sector, healthcare, food and beverage and hospitality. Her areas of expertise include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Payroll and implementation of various business systems. Kathy served as an integral part of several acquisition teams with G&K Services in the mid-atlantic region over her 5 years with G&K services leading in several different roles. In her spare time she has also owned and managed her own successful business for many years. Prior to the laundry business she worked at National Geographic for 18 years in office management roles.
Maria joined Up To Date Laundry in 2014 as the Human Resources Manager bringing an extensive background in human resources from multiple industries including hospitality, retail, construction, healthcare, and automotive manufacturing. Through her years in human resources, Maria has applied her knowledge and experience of employment law, customer and employee relations, process improvement, and organizational development to build and lead human resources operations for several large organizations. Maria obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Texas at San Antonio, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. At the end of 2017, Maria transitioned her role at Up To Date to support the Human Resources department with special projects, policy writing and administration, and federal reporting requirements.
